The awards banquet is held each year to recognize excellence in two areas, Aurora Awards and Awards of Excellence. Aurora Awards honor a comprehensive public relations campaign that successfully communicates a message using a variety of tools, programs and components. The Awards of Excellence recognizes the design, creation and production of a single public relations tool.

2006 Communicator of the Year Award Bruce Pozzi Chapter Service Award


The PR Communicator of the Year is the Alaska Chapter’s highest individual award. Created in 1993, the award is given annually to a public relations professional who exhibits leadership and visionary style, and makes a major contribution to the profession setting themselves apart from their peers. The award may not be given each year.
