"The New Online World of the News-Miner "

You are invited to join the monthly Fairbanks meeting of the PRSA Alaska Chapter on Monday, May 19, from 12-1p.m. at Zach's Restaurant in Sophie Station Hotel. Our guest speaker will be Fairbanks Daily News-Miner Managing Editor Kelly Bostian, who will be talking about recent changes in the online world of FDNM.

With the launch of FDNM's new website, the News-Miner now has the ability to break news during the day. The new website also features one of the most talked about topics in town these days --- the "Comments" section --- which allows readers to post comments on stories, columns and letters to the editor. Find out how the News-Miner is adapting to these changes, and how these changes affect the way we as PR practitioners do business with them.
